Our Story
Our Story
Every business has a beginning. More than 30 years ago, Charles "Chuck" Timberlake opened Timberlake & Associates' doors to the Central Ohio community, offering tax preparation services to local businesses and consumers.
Over the years, Mr. Timberlake became a friend, mentor, and confidant to many of his clients.
In 2008, Mr. Timberlake sold the company to M&M Financial, Inc.
Following in the footsteps of Mr. Timberlake, M&M Financial, Inc. continued operating Timberlake & Associates as it had been operated for the past 30 years; making sure that the company's primary focus was unparalleled customer service and knowing every aspect of our clients' financial affairs. Mr. Timberlake stayed on to serve some of his loyal clients and consult on the daily operations of the business.
In June 2011, Mr. Timberlake passed away after a long battle with cancer. At that time, M&M Financial, while sticking to the core values and services of Timberlake, began evolving into a truly full-service financial services and consulting firm with specialized services for both businesses and individuals.
With the current economic climate, shrinking budgets, and companies being forced to do more with less; M&M Financial, still doing business under the name Timberlake & Associates, has positioned itself as Central Ohio's leader for outsourced business finance & operations services as well as the area's most affordable personal tax preparers. Both cost effective and accurate, Timberlake & Assoicates is looking forward to offering a full suite of financial and consulting services to better serve the needs of our community.

Payroll Guru & IT Ninja
Whether you've got a small payroll with a couple people, or 400 employees; he'll get you on track with that mess. Unemployment or workers compensation issues? No worries, he'll tackle it. He also handles our IT Services division, loves coffee, and is insanely easy to like.
Christine Tunanidis
The Mad Greek
Over 30 years of finance and legal experience makes this fiery redhead our resident corporate tax & tax law expert. Don't have a P&L and Balance Sheet for your taxes? She's gonna yell at you... just prepare for it. No one, and we mean NO ONE, takes your tax liability and financial stability more seriously. If you've got complex tax stuff going on, consider her your own personal tax Obi Wan.

The Gatekeeper
Chris is usually the first person our clients meet. She's the switchboard and hub of our office, routing calls, emails, faxes, and making sure there's always a fresh pot of coffee for whoever stops in. She's also the one that makes sure your sales tax, payroll taxes, and CAT get paid on time so you don't have to worry about those pesky notices in the mail.
